KONČAR and HOPS Sign €11.5 Million Grid Modernisation Contract

On 27 October 2026, HOPS and KONČAR signed an €11.5 million contract excluding VAT for the installation of a phase-shifting transformer at the Gračac substation. The investment will improve electricity-flow management, grid flexibility and security while supporting the integration of renewable energy. The project forms part of GreenSwitch and receives 50% EU co-financing on eligible costs, creating opportunities for grid-equipment suppliers, energy contractors and infrastructure consultants.
