On 29 October, Reuters reported that Hungary’s government had asked parliament to make its civilian nuclear cooperation agreement with the United States legally binding. The framework covers nuclear-energy cooperation, including small modular reactors, but the report did not disclose a new project contract value or a final procurement award.
